AYA’s enduring Nº 53 is one of the oldest models in the AYA line-up, having been produced since the early 1950s.
Built on a standard-size frame, the Nº 53 is slimmer and lighter than its counterpart Nº 56. The double-trigger sidelock comes with fixed-choke 28in chopper lump barrels as standard but other lengths are available to order. Weighing approximately 6¾lb, the side-by-side hammerless gun features a forged steel action with concealed Purdey third bite, side clips and gas vents.
Distributed exclusively here in the UK by ourselves, Anglo Spanish Imports (A.S.I), the Nº 53 was designed specifically for British tastes and is competitively priced compared to its London-made counterparts.
