Rizzini’s most recent addition to its range is the RB (Round Body) series, a high-end range of sporting over-and-under shotguns, elegant in form and inspired by the round-action shotguns famously made by Scottish gunmakers.
The RB EL (Extra Lusso) is the flagship of the Round Body series, with extravagant and elegant steel engraved scrollwork on a choice of old silver or colour-case hardened action. To complement this stunning finish, Rizzini has chosen highly figured walnut, with fine chequering, and a rounded pistol grip to the stock. The RB EM is a variation of the EL, with simpler, laser engraved scrollwork, and a less figured walnut, reflected in its price. The EM, which has a ventilated rib, was the winner of the IPC Industry Awards “New Shotgun” category in 2014. The Classic, which is the simplest of the RB series, has minimal engraving, with the maker’s name inlaid in gold.
The entire RB range is produced in the same way: with strong, solid middle and top ribs, which not only result in a shotgun that will stand the test of time, but is perfectly balanced for the sporting shooter. A single selective trigger and auto-ejector ensure the gun handles with supreme smoothness. All the RB range is available in 12-, 20- and 28-bore as well as .410, with barrels ranging in length between 28in and 32in. Five flush-fit multi-chokes are provided as standard.
