About Rizzini

When Battista Rizzini founded his business in 1966, he had one obsession: precision. He was determined to use, and make if necessary, the finest machinery for gun making so that his craftsmen could use their skills on those operations where they were masters of their art and not spend a minute more than necessary on anything which could be done mechanically. So it was that over the next 50 or so years, guns bearing the B Rizzini name became increasingly popular the world over.

The Rizzini factory, based in the Val Trompia region of northern Italy, boasts a wealth of state-of-the-art machinery, all backed up by a technical workshop as well as a ‘custom shop’ where specialist craftsmen create individual bespoke creations of breath-taking beauty.

Almost every standard gun in the Rizzini range is available in five gauges – 12, 16, 20, 28 and .410. The first four of these are all built on truly scaled actions, giving the guns their ideal weight, balance and handling characteristics. Barrel are available from 26” to 34” and with fixed chokes, internal or extended multichokes.

If you see a model you like in these pages, but would prefer something a little more personalised, simply contact us and we can arrange a factory visit, during which you can see guns being made, choose your wood and discuss the different engraving options available. Unlike many other makers, Rizzini do not charge for this service!

Rizzini also offer a gun fitting service, where, for a surcharge, you can have yourself measured for your stock which will be hand-built for you by one of Italy’s leading stock makers.
